Business Development/Marketing Manager

TECTONIC, a fast growing ENR Top 500 Firm, is currently seeking a Full-Time BD/Marketing Manager in our Orange County, NY Office. Candidate must be able to lead and manage the Corporate marketing/BD team effort, in an energetic environment for supporting the Company’s strategic and fast-paced growth plan, and their career goals must be synergistic with the Company’s plans for expansion.

Responsibilities of the position include:·

• Develop strategic marketing BD plans with Corporate Market Sector Managers;
• Identify, research, and track leads and opportunities;
• Create, prepare, and review customized responses to RFPs & RFQs, including government forms;
• Manage the proposal and marketing material qa/qc process;
• Layout and design of marketing collateral and development of presentations;
• Oversee the maintenance of project and personnel data for marketing and business development purposes;
• Perform market research tasks;
• Plan and coordinate trade shows and industry conferences;
• Develop new client and sub-contractor relationships; and
• Develop and implement a proactive marketing and business development strategy.

Requirements of the position are as follows:

• A Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, PR, or Business Administration/Management;
• Minimum 8 years experience in the A/E/C industry, or specific experience performing the job duties listed above;
• Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe programs and Deltek Vision/CRM;
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and excellent grammar skills;
• An ability to organize multiple deadlines and manage time while paying close attention to detail; and
• The ability to coordinate staff and work collaboratively in a team environment or independently.
