Upstate NY
SMPS Upstate New York was established in 1982 including members from Albany,
Rochester, Syracuse and Buffalo. The chapter holds regularly scheduled meetings
throughout the region on a wide variety of topics of interest to marketing
professionals at every level. 50% of members are actively involved in various
committees that support and enhance the chapter among the design and construction
industry.

The Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) was created in 1973
by a small group of professional services firm leaders who recognized the
need to sharpen skills, pool resources, and work together to create business
opportunities. Today, the association has a membership of 5,500+ marketing
and business development professionals from architectural, engineering, planning,
interior design, construction, specialty consulting firms, and landscape architecture
